Grants

  • IAGD Charitable Foundation intends to make grants for various charitable, educational, literary, and/or religious purposes.  The Foundation will accept and review grant proposals consistent with its grant-making guidelines. Example of potential projects that could receive grant funds include, but are not limited to, educational seminars, visiting scholar programs, book acquisitions for library, special youth activities, charitable projects, etc.

    At this time, the Foundation will only be accepting grant requests on behalf of IAGD. However, the Foundation expects to open grant requests to other non-profit organizations in the future.

    • The Foundation will only accept grants for religious, charitable, scientific, educational, and/or literary purposes, consistent with its status as a non-profit, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.

    • All potential grant requests shall be for purposes that are consistent with the Foundation’s mission and otherwise compatible with Islamic values and principles.

    • Only the officers, directors, trustees, employees, or committee members of the applying non-profit organization may submit a grant request.

    • No grant funds will be paid to an individual but rather will be paid directly to the applying organization.

    • Please complete the Grant Application form and submit to charitable@iagd.net.

    • The Foundation will review the application based on established criteria in its Grant-making Policy.

    • The Foundation may contact the applicant or other individuals within the applicant’s organization for any additional information needed.

    • Once a decision has been made to accept or deny the request, the Foundation will notify the applicant in writing of its decision.

    • The Foundation may require the applicant to sign a Grant Agreement before funds can be disbursed.

    • After disbursement of funds, the applicant will be required to submit a final grant report detailing the use of grant funds.
